It's the same transmission basically, just different computer programming, but I don't think there's one for that transmission yet, I'd assume one would be out soon though as it'll basically be the same product with minor changes....if any at all...
It's prolly a typo on his part. But these trans are identicle, it just pogramed different in the tcm, nothing is changed in the trans. So my guess is that it would work with any 4'th gen 545RFE including the 65RFE. EDIT: it's only 50 bucks wth...I'd give it a try.

But don't they have a different one for the 45rfe and 545rfe? I'd at least call and ask them if it's compatible with the new trans...

They're prolly not going to know. He needs to take a pick and see if it matches the pics in this thread. I'm just sayin if it was me with no other chance of firming up the trans, I would get one and if it doesn't work he can always sell it here.

When I was a kid, I welded a set of bosses on a spare 383 block to accomidate the extra 4 or 5 head bolts (I forgot how many) on the hemi heads. First off, I was a popcorn welder, and then I'm welding on cast iron. But geuss what, it worked but I never followed through with the rest of the modding Like intake and cleaning up the welds or magnafluxing the block for cracks from the welding. A couple of years later I see an article in HotRod about a baby elephant build. Turns out a machinist did the exact same thing sucessfully...I thought that sob...he stole my idea, but no, he folowed his through! But I was proud to know that my theory was right, it could be done. Today they sell a kit to convert the 383 into a hemi. Without trial and error we would be several years behind todays tech. Ed Hamburger from 1980's Direct Connection would drill his 340 lifter valley out from 9/16 to 5/8 and install a 5/8 copper tubing with 1/8" holes to reduce oiling to the top for solid lifters. The original holes were bigger than dimes and it robbed oil pressure from below. The man was a Mopar s/b genious, today they sell lifter bushings for the same purpose...trial and error at it's best. Anything is possible, you just have to try it and follow through with your dreams or you'll never know!

Since the 645RFE is a 545RFE with different programming to bring 2P into the standard shift sequence, the line pressure booster is most likely the same one as for the 545. I would contact Sonnax to verify this before ordering.
