I just used it in my 98 5.2 and it ran like crap for almost a week, then it finally smoothed out. I've heard really good reviews on it but it didnt work for me.

Should I do the full seafoam method on an 09 Ram Hemi with 56000 miles or should I add the injector cleaner to the gas. Any info would be appreciated

Seafoam is used as a fuel injector cleaner. Just pour the contents into the gas tank and let it run its course. Seafoam just has some alternate methods of doing other than the injector cleaning by following the instructions.

If using a full large can I would change it the same day after running it awhile to clean it up... if using a small can you can run a few days to circulate and let it work its wonder, I wouldnt trust running a full big can in it more than a couple hours as it will thin the oil not to forget the crap that gets broke loose and floating in there ( the oil filter will catch most of the crud so it could clog as well ) after about 2 seafoam flushes the block will be pretty clean, then a regular flush with seafoam every once in awhile will keep it in tip top shape. There are other products out there that does the same thing it just depends on what you want to spend.

Years ago ( 40's, 50's, 60's ) guys used to add trans fluid to the oil as the high detergent will clean the blocks as well... I havent researched it but I have heard alot of old car guys at car shows talk of this... myself, I wouldnt, especially on newer cars as they arent made like those cast iron beasts back in the days.

Wait a minute...Are you guys saying it's actually safe to pour some SeaFoam (my buddy recommended this to me for the gas tank) into the actual crank case where I'd normally put a quart of oi, and then actully start and drive the engine for a day or two?

A question for the Canadian guys. Where are you guys buying your Sea Foam at? I can't find any where I live in Central Alberta.

is it OK to dump a 16 ounce can in my 4.7L? was reading about oil sludge killing the 4.7L's and since i have 157K miles on my truck it doesnt seem like a bad idea to do anyway. just want to make sure its ok to use a whole 16 ounce can in the crank case. ill do it on my next oil change. i was thinkin, a whole can in the crank case, half or whole can in the vac line and one in the tank. how long should i let it idle? and lastly, whats the best vac line to use to suck it though? on my RT, i would use the brake booster line to hit all cylinders. new to this truck and V8's. ill probably put a whole can in the tank and fill up too soon. TIA guys

Crappy Tire and Car Quest both carry it. Others probably do as well. Just ask around.
