Default Big screw up......

So I was installing a set of SSBC brakes yesterday and my assistant (dad) didn't quite understand how bleeding brakes works and also was kinda drunk......long story short due to inability to understand what I was telling him there is now air in my abs module and I don't know how to get it out. What should I do about this?

You need the Dealer tool or your own DRBIII to bleed the ABS pump. If you were closer I'd do it for you.

I'd just try bleeding through a quart of fluid through the front drivers side brake bleeder. If that don't work, try bleeding a quart through the passenger side. go on to the rear if it doesn't bleed out. I'd try to get the front up higher by using a driveway or surface that has an incline on it- steeper the better. bubbles like to go up. brake fluid is cheap.

I have seen some abs units with bleeder screws on them. you might examine yours closely to see.

I have bled abs and master cylinder reservoirs by loosening the line fittings one at a time and having undrunk assistant push the brakes. messy but it can be done.

unless you pumped your brake fluid reservoir dry, you probably don't have air in the ABS unit. Its probably only in the calipers.

$150? What did they do besides bleed them? I've had cars topped off and bled at different places for $20-$30. Did you install just the fronts or the rears too? I'm in the market for a kit and can't decide on which to get and if I want to do all 4 corners or not.
