Default went racing!

I ran my ram tonight. Its a 2010 CC 4x4 3.92 w/ all the options. I was running just under a 1/4 tank of gas and no weight reductions. I have a DS Trinity w/87 tune and 180 stat and nothing else done to it "yet" lol. My best was a 14.76@94.84. I had a 2.25 60'. Not to sure if thats good for the truck or not but I was pleased. I think I could have gotten it down into the 14.6x's or maybe a really high 14.5x with more time and a psi drop but who knows. There's always next time right!

Those are great times for a CC 4wd. The DS must do wonders!

Great times for a very minimally modded truck.

Yeah that's pretty decent times for that truck. I smell more mods coming out of this one!

Not bad- work on your R/T just a bit, and your 60' will improve. Did you spin off the line, or hook and go? Looks like you ran out of steam at the 1/8th mile mark.

Why the 87 tune? Put some 93 in there and use the 93 or 91 canned tune- you should see a huge difference. Also, you could raise the shift points just a hair to see how that helps you....

Thanks guys! Yes a lot more mods to come! I have my shift points raised a bit right now. I didn't have much time to play with launch. I was stall around 1k and spinning 5-6ft. It was hard to time it right, I had a good amount of delay in the throttle response even with the throttle booster turned up. I run the 87 tune because the truck is 99% stock and don't really get on it to much. Once I get my volant intake and custom y with the corsa cb it will be tuned on 93. Im usually pretty good on the rt. In my srt jeep I cut a few perfect and a lot more near perfect lights. The ram will take some getting use to but I think I can make it happen.

Run the 93 tune dead stock and you'll see a difference. Bolt on some drag radials, get 'em hot, and I'll bet you be in the 13.9x territory.....

Yeah I'd also run the 93 tune even without other mods, it'll be worth it and most likely cheaper cost/mile anyway. I don't think it's going to be possible for you to go from a 14.7 to 14.0 or faster though with just a higher octane tune(you already have a good tune) and slicks....I doubt you're spinning enough to make a near 1 second difference...

Also, ET is Elapsed Time, the time from when you break the starting beam to you hit the finish beam. RT only matter in bracket racing or heads up racing and doesn't effect ET(or 60', etc...).
