No I mean like alot of guys get the pipe cut off close to the cat and get new bent pipe to the y. On yours it looks like it's barely any new pipe and it still uses the crushed stock pipe just changed out the y

yeah it's cut a little before the cats, it's all stainless so there is no need to get rid of any pipeing u don't need too

I see what ya mean, no I think its due to being a poor cell phone picture. It was cut prior to the point where it starts being pinched. Using the crushed stock pipe on a new Y would have defeated the purpose

^ I don't know about you guys, but on my 4.7L, the part of the pipe that crosses under the transmission is flattened/crushed for about 1 foot.

They basically moved the y back and did the mandrel bends to it.

I was wondering if the hemi was the same way. This is one reason I want to move that crossover to behind the trans. Also would like to run a deeper aluminum pan and have easier access to the trans...
