Default Running rough after oil change

My 2011 ram 1500 5.7 HEMI has 4,000 miles. This past weekend I changed the oil myself with Mobil One Full Synthetic Oil. Now my truck seems to be running rough. Could the oil change have done this?

Most likely not. You used the correct weight? (I think it's 5w20 but check your manual). You also changed the filter? The oil shouldn't cause an issue...

I used the 5w20. I'm hoping I didn't accidentally discount something under the truck.

Just how rough is it running? Oil pressure gauge seems normal?

The gas pedal has a lot of vibration when I'm accelerating. I dent notice it before the oil change.

Is it only a vibration in the pedal....but the truck seems to run/accelerate smoothly? I know that there are others(and myself) that have experienced slight vibration in the brake pedal from time to time, and I assume this same thing could be felt in the gas pedal...?

Humm now this is weird, I just did mine this past weekend and I kinda noticed the same thing (as a matter a fact I said to my self this morning humm now that doesnt seem right!!), it just sounded different and felt rougher than before. I used 5w 20 full Syn oil and new filter, checked the dip stick 10 times oil level is on the full mark. Like always I filled the filter some. So I dunno I guess I will keep and eye on it and see how she runs after its warmed up good (run it park it then come back in a few and run it again.)

I just did my second oil change yesterday. 7 quarts of Mobil 1 5W20 with new filter. Did not notice anything weird. Drove 45 miles to work this morning and everything seems fine. As a matter of fact I just went outside and double checked everything again after reading this thread. I hope your vibbration is only temporary.
