Does anybody know where the air bag sensor is located on a 2000 ram? Pictures if you have one would very helpful Thanks

I believe they are two small black box like sensors mounted under the hood just in front of the wheel wells on the flat horizontal surface, one on each side directly behind where the headlights are.

Sounds right. The system has three sensors: two crash sensors at the front of the truck mounted along the inner fender panels behind the grille opening reinforcement and a safing sensor in the Airbag Control Module (ACM) located under the instrument panel, on the transmission hump.

Thanks for the info I needed to know where they were at so
I could troubleshoot my air bag system turned out to be something else
