Default Evaporator case tar dripping

I have a 09 ram hemi, under rt side of dash on buttom of evaporator case there is a black tar looking glue ? Dripping on floor mat , has anyone else had to problem?

I there is a tsb on this issue, I have done a few, are u still under warr.? If so take it in to the dealer.

No I am over the milage, do u know what the problem is?I am leaving out of town for a week with my family and I'm concerned

Nothing to be concerned about, they used a mastic patch on a seam, with the heat from your heater and inside temps, the mastic patch melts, the tsb is to remove the patch and remove the mastic from the mat, simple operation. You can remove it with Mopar brake and parts cleaner from the mat, takes a bit of work though.
