Sweet! Can't wait for pictures! Have you thought about using a photo bucket account or a tinypic account, or even your member gallery here on the Z for your pictures so you don't have to keep deleting old pictures?

Either way-- I bet you're super happy. Love your perseverance.

IMO that's the best looking scoop out there.

Out of curiousity have you weighed the whole assembly with filter.

It looks like the upper plastic rad cover will even still go back in place

Thanks, I'm glad you like it.
I haven't weighed it, but I will after this weekend. We had rain today just when I was ready to paint the air cleaner, almost got delayed again. In all the pictures the black on the bubble and base is just gel-coat, right out of the mold. I'm really happy with how slick they came out. In one of the pictures you can actually see the reflection of the shaker decal in the top of the bubble. It's all painted now, just in time for me to clean the truck tomorrow for Garlits this weekend. I'm going to take some pictures there showing the whole truck. I'll have to get a new radiator cover, mine's trimmed for the vararam that was on the truck until now. Maybe when I list the vararam for sale I can work a radiator cover swap with the purchaser. If not, I'll either make one or order a new one from the dealer.

3 new pictures in my album. It's now officially 100% Finished! Installed, Painted, Decals + Mesh installed, Cleaned and Waxed. Ready for Garlits this weekend. Plenty of pictures to come after this weekend.

Thank You! Yeah, I started to leave the mesh black, but after I put the decals on I had to try to continue the silver of the 345 around to the front. Sorta pulls the eyes to the scoop. We'll know tomorrow morning how it's going to run. Fifty miles of interstate and 40 degrees, it should like that! This will be the first time in 6 weeks that it's gone over 50 feet, ever since I cut the hood open. I also ordered a new radiator cover today, $32.00 from the dealer.

Forgot to mention that the mesh was a black powdercoated aluminum folding patio chair that I cut up and painted. Still have more of it left over too!
