Many people who have installed HID kits on our trucks have had flicker problems. The error code eliminators will fix the flicker problem. Some people have gotten away with not using them, so it is up to you. I decided that I only wanted to take my headlights apart once, so I used them from the beginning. I didn't want to install the HID kit then later have to take the lights back out to install the error code eliminators. What you want to do is up to you.
It took me basically about 4 hours to install my new projector headlights and HID kits. Most of the time was finding a place to attach the ballasts and error code eliminators and attaching them to the truck. Basically the first side took me about 3 hours and the second side about 1 hour.

I understand that but you see the harness in this picture http://www.carid.com/2010-dodge-ram-...it-246391.html that cuts out the flicker problem so buying the code eliminators is just xtra money you dont need to spend. And believe me i did weeks of research but like i said maybe your kit did not come with one and maybe that harness does the same thing as the code thing.

Those look sweet. And if the harness cuts out the flicker problem that is great. The set costs basically $100. I paid $100 for 2 sets with error code eliminators from DDM Tuning. So it is actually saving money to go my route. But to each their own. If yours work, that is awesome and I am very happy for you. Mine work and I am very happy with my set up. Everyone is happy. Yeah.

Thanks for the extra info. So you turn your parking lights on and that turns on your driving lights then?

Finally, I see you got you HIDs at DDM but where did you get you projector headlights?

Thanks

Sorry brokenwrench66. I basically use parking lights/driving lights interchangeably. I have them wired to that when you turn on your light switch to the middle level (headlights not on by driving/parking lights on) the halos and LEDs come on.

I got my projector headlights from AutoAnything. They will match another sites lowest price. They also have sales all the time for people on their mailing list. I always get 10% to 15% off. Another thing to do is just add what you want to your cart, but don't buy them. Close the page and wait a day or so. If you are on their mailing list, they will send you an email asking if you are still interested with on offer for 10% to 15% off. I never pay their full price. Plus they have free shipping and great customer service.

Niko - lights look great.. how long did you have to wait for shipping from DDM.. I ordered lights Oct 4th still haven't gotten anything.. and would you say the light output is higher in the projectors then stock housing with HIDs in both ?
