Nice write up man, was thinking of doing the same but I do have one question... Why didn't you use the access door in the fender well to access the back of the light assembly rather than unbolting the fender??

And you dont need to remove the grill lol i am actually making a cutom set of spyder headlights they are all apart and painted just waiting on my custom ccfl rings. And yes you dont need to remove fender or grill get the the clip with the access panel and get a 10mm socket with a long ext to get the bottom bolt .

Nice write up and your instructions seem very straight forward. I'm sure everyone will appreciate your work. Were you able to purchase everything including the Spyder headlights at DDM except the extra error code eliminator? How did you deal with the day time running lights which run on the hi beams? Did you have to adjust the headlights for proper alignment after the installation?

I know this is a different yr model but the hids for my 2007 recons, the bulb is to long??
