Its embarssing to be driving this thing around when people ask you if its real or fake because so many posers decided to flood the market with fake ones. On that note, good bye Ram R/T, going back to Chevy. Lesson learned.
Everything is always gonna be cloned. Chevy gets cloned, ford gets cloned, dodge gets cloned, nissan gets cloned, toyota gets cloned, everything

Wasn't the whole point of the Express to customize it and make it the way you want it? What's the big deal if I chose to make it look similar to an R/T? Not everything is going to be an exact R/T, I just liked the hood and paint matched parts. The exterior is very similar but as far as the torque converter and 4.10 gearing I am going aftermarket.

In the Jacksonville area I have not seen any ram express or R/T other then a buddy of mine. So my truck will be a 1 of a kind where I live.

So your worried about whether people think its real or fake?!?!?!? All you have to do is tell them to race u and find out. It's going to suck when u go back to Chevy and u get your doors blown off by a ram rt and then ur the one that will be wondering if it was a real or fake r/t.

I am in the same boat as you right now. I JUST bought an Express a month ago and I love the hell out of it. It is probably one of the fastest trucks I have ever owned straight off the lot BEFORE the modifications. I am going to do kinda like a "Super Bee" scheme without the badging on mine, redo the interior a little and so on because I bought this truck with the intent of doing my own thing to it and there won't be another one like it anywhere, period. The R/T version of this truck functionally is no different. I can hang with one of them in the 1/4 mile and vise-versa. It just cost 10K more to own one with a fake hood scoop, one less seat and an R/T badge on the front grill. My Hood Scoop will be functional when I am done and I won't need badging to dictate it's abilities. She will be purdy and a purdy fast truck.

Here is Thunderbolt.

Performance wise, the RT also has different springs, the 4.10 gears, and the loose torque converter. Appearance wise it has the wheels, hood, quad headlights, badging, luxury interior, and all the bells and whistles. I happen to agree with you though, I'd take the express. I like the white , and looks like you have a nice quad cab there too!

Yeah there was a few minor differences here and there, but like the OP, I know I can do things with this truck to make it mine and still have money in my pocket during the process. And thanks for the compliment on my truck and the quad cab is my wife's truck. I got it for her March of 2010 to replace a 2009 Journey (The Jalopy edition) that was about to get drove off into a river somewhere. That derned car was making Dodge look real bad.
