i dont have the coolant leak, but my driver air ducts dont blow hot air either, but the passenger side works great, your coolant leak is most liklely not the culprit,i havent been able to check this yet, but the trap doors in the dash that direct hot/cold air are electricly controlled, someone correct me if im wrong, so if thats the case it might be a stuck door, or maybe if its vaccum controlled then the vaccum line could have a leak, also i might add that after about day of running the heat the drivers side starts to work its very weird, i suspect blockage!

Yes, the Ram HVAC modulation doors are electronically controlled and prone to failure. If you haven't already check out this site....

Read it all if you have time. It's great, detailed information. Sounds like you might particularly be interested in the section on blend door failure. Good luck!

Yeah, can't blame you. I don't remember where I learned about that site but it is awesome. The only issue I have had so far is the recirc door. It's stuck open so in the winter cold air comes in the external intake and flows out the internal intake onto my wife's feet, lol. I need to fix it before we start getting really cold weather this year. Like you, I am going to try to fix it myself before I pony up the cash.

I had same issue. 2003 Dodge Ram no heat drivers side.I replaced tstat, radiator ,2 blend doors & recirc door. Still no heat. I flushed out heater core 1rst with water then with my air compressor. My heat is now working 100% better than it has in years.
