I couldn't imagine a Canadian Winter without my WeatherTech's

I was actually shopping for Husky floor liners when my Mopar Parts guy tossed a pair of WT's across the counter and said go try these instead and come back with your wallet.
I love the way the melted slush/dirty water just runs out without having to lift them out and risk spilling it on my carpet.

How well do the wear? I bought the dodge OEM slush mats and where the heal of my boots sit is starting to wear through after only 8 months. They are going to give me a new set, they are warrantied for 12 months. If they keep giving me new ones every 8 months, not a big deal, but not sure if that will happen.

Mine only get used in Winter months and this may seem silly, but I actually use a smaller rubber pants saver type channeled mat on top of my WT's
that totally protect where a normal wear spot would occur....so the WT's will likely outlast my Truck.

I've transferred those same little rubber mats to my last 3 or 4 vehicles now LOL!
you can probably find them at Wally World for under $10

I usually buy WeatherTechs for my vehicles but amazon had the husky liners(front and back) on sale for ninety-nine so I went with those. They work just as good but the material isn't as stiff which is good for me since I tend to go into the storage bins in the rear floor pretty often. Time will tell how they hold up.

Since you are in Florida, you won't have the road salt issues that some of the forum's northern brethren may have. Yes, the WTs are probably the best and I personally won't use anything else but if you want save a few bucks, there are decent alternatives (like the Husky's and others).

I hunt and fish a lot so when it comes to my truck, I consider a couple hundred bucks a small investment to protect the carpet and floor of a $40K truck. Not to mention I rarely hunt or fish alone (not a safe idea) so there can be an additional 1-4 passengers with wet, muddy, nasty feet in my truck at any given time. That being said, I sit at a desk for a living and rarely have anyone in my truck other than a few weekends a year. I just like the idea of extra protection being there when I need it.

At the end of the day, it's up to your particular lifestyle. If you don't have rear seat passenger on a regular basis, you may not need much for the back. What you do for a living also plays a role (my office shoes don't pick up much dirt and mud). And of course, weather plays a large role. Just do what works best for your climate, lifestyle and budget. As long as your happy, that is all that matters.

Weather Tec Digital Fit is worth every penny....they fit nicely and won't allow mud, water, etc. onto your carpet since they aren't flat. If you can afford them, they work great.

if you happened to notice my post, you will see i ordered these floor mats yesterday. like you, i am also in the salt belt, if i opted to not use the "little mats", how will the weather tech hold up? or if i get smart and take your advice, how do you keep the little mats from sliding around? tks for your help? Steve

Do the weather techs stay in place? I have some universal NFL logo slush mats and I am constantly having to move them back in place, plus I'm still always getting crap on my carpet with them
