Default 06 RAM 1500 Rear Shocks

hi everybody

so last year i got new shocks for my truck, just replacements from monroe due to my old ones crapping out. when i did change them i noticed a difference in the length of the shocks compared to factory. the monroes were shorter in length. when i was done i never did notice a big difference in the height in the back untill couple of weeks later i had a level kit put in... thats when i saw the rear sagging a bit. so now the front is higher than the rear and all i want is a nice level look... to my understanding shocks don't control ride height but if the shocks are smaller would it actually bring the rear height down?

correct me if im wrong please

planning on going to dodge and getting the stock ones again

It's possible shocks can effect ride height slightly....My dad has monroe coil over shocks on the rear of his 05 and they raised the back by 1-2 inches for sure, also supposedly increased his payload by like 1000 lb or 2000 lb or something really drastic...he said he could tell when he towed that it felt like it handled the weight better... Maybe worth a shot?

just a lil update

sooo from the looks of it my truck is about an inch higher in the back now

the factory and aftermarket shocks do make a difference i guess

when we compared it, it was exactly an inch

That's with factory shocks or the coil overs?
