Default Please sticky this... WARNING!!!! BT Catch Can buyers... make sure you get the bracket...

So I ordered a BT Catch Can and (stupidly) went the cheapest route, I ordered the satin finish, brass connectors and normal hose and just the standard bracket (no special bracket z mount). I figured it'd come with some kind of basic mounting bracket and it kinda does but I'm not sure it's for the ram's... Anyone have their BT mounted without ordering the special brackets and took a picture of it??? Any one do a right up on installing one? I had heard that some had installed them to the fender or other areas and was wondering how they did it... Thanks.. Hopefully someone can help, as this BT can is just a paperweight until then....

I wanted to add to this and inform anyone who is thinking of buying a BT Catch Can. The BT Catch Can is an awesome product and I've yet to hear of any flaws but there is one minor one(ONLY WHEN BUYING IT). When you go to order your catch can regardless of color, fittings, or hoses, MAKE SURE YOU GET THE "Z" BRACKET for your truck!!!!!! If you don't get it then you'll be required to either design your own bracket or end up reordering you a Z bracket which will cost you more money (shipping) and time waiting to get it. Don't make the mistake I did and not get the bracket.... Hope this helps....

The instruction they sent are for a charger/chally/300 (because it isn't a picture of a ram engine). I looked at buy a Z bracket from BT but all they have them for is 2005-2008 hemi 5.7... who do I get one from?

You need to order the z-mount bracket to mount it, not sure if there is another way with out it. From what i understand the zbracket was an option for 05-08 hemis. 09 - up you need the bracket and they sell with the bracket.

Thanks!!! Still pisses me off that you have to buy this to make it fit correctly, $25 for a bracket, really.... I guess it's whatever, I'm sure I've spent more money on dumber things....

Yeah i hear you but what it comes down to the piece of aluminium it must be hogged out of and machining cost. All in all i think the catch can is a good deal when you look at the machining is involved and that it is made in the USA.

Yeah, I just ordered one from them, Guess I'll be waiting another week before I can install it, I guess it's the price you pay for making the mistake of not ordering it in the first place, I hope they sticky this so others will see it, before they make the same mistake I did, lol...

So does your water pump case have a forward facing bolt and nut that looks like this?
