yep, i have been eyeing up this ad for a couple months now, and he keeps dropping the price. that whole set up is a damn good price, but i dont know how good it would hold up with our regina winters.

Well, there's a local guy here who had the STS kit in his '03 for I think 4 years, he ugraded the turbo and some other pieces, but you shouldn't have an issue with the kit in the winters. All the piping is stainless, and the turbos can handle the road crap, just need the snorkel kit; have you ever seen the engine bay of the cummins? Salt spray and road grime everywhere, so the turbo can handle it.

I emailed him to see if he'd be willing to split up the turbo kit from the nitrous kit, just don't need the nitrous kit at all since I already have one. We shall see

that's true i guess the air filter might just need to get cleaned a little more often.
Now would you be able to keep the muffler in the same position? doesnt this turbo mount were the muffler is?

Gonna be interesting to see what the sts puts out at 5 psi compared to the maggie making 425 rwhp since they're around the same price

The STS turbo will replace the muffler and will be as loud as a mild performance muffler.

I think STS rates the Hemi Ram kit at 419hp at 7 psi. Not enough? Turn a knob and the boost up to however much HP you want. This is the advantage of a turbo-charger. A stock engine will handle 550-600 crank HP which equates to around 9 psi with water/meth injection on the STS kit. After that the #3 piston falls apart like mine did and many others have.

Also, the pipes are Jet-Hot coated, not stainless. Lasts forever just the same.

Don't forget the transmission getting destroyed. And I don't think he can do that much boost cause the 4th gens have a 10.5:1 compression ratio

Yes, forced induction = blown transmissions. Expect it and budget for it. With 10.5:1 lower boost levels 6-7# will make the same power as 9# on lower compression. If one was to increase the ring gap on a stock engine it could handle much more boost safely. It's primarily the top ring land that breaks off when the upper ring goes solid after hitting too high a temperature.
