Maybe they shouldn't charge so much for a F-ing Durango lol I honestly think Dodge has to many vehicles that encroach on other vehicles price points. And most new buyers are willing to shop around in those price ranges Case in point, a moderately equipped Jeep Rubicon can easily run you $32k. Unless you're heavily into Jeep and off-roading, why not go for something like the Compass, Patriot, or even a similarly equipped Grand Cherokee Laredo with 4x4 is only around $30k. MPG's are better and you'd be more comfortable in all honesty. For the price of a fully loaded Durango R/T is around $39k and the price of the Citadel with the V6 and RWD is just over $40k and that's without the rear entertainment system and tow packages. Point is there are to many options for the prices that you pay, when you start looking at the comfortably packaged vehicle prices you get onto the territory of to many other options in your own line-up. Why do you think Saturn and Pontiac collapsed? Besides the amazing G8 and GTO their cars were all the same as their Chevrolet brothers but with a little difference here and there cosmetically. And the G8 still lives on in the underpinnings of the Camaro. Minus that Frankenstein ZL1 track beast lol

I wouldn't consider the GTO and G8 similar to the others since they were imported from Australia. But the G8 is coming back to the US as the chevy SS

But wranglers are overboard. A MW3 wrangler 2 door is like $43,000 and the unlimited version is like $50,000. A rubicon unlimited is like $43,000 too

They weren't imported, just borrowed the design of the australian cars.

Where'd you hear about the SS? I hadn't heard that... The G8 is probably one of my favorite cars. Was a shame it wasn't adopted by chevy as part of their lineup. The GTO on the other hand, was just ok. Very heavy, so not that fast...

And the G8 and GTO were imported and rebadged. Like the VW Routan is a rebadged town and country/grand caravan

That's awesome. The G8 was an amazing car, and a sedan none the less. Much like the CTS-V but MUCH more affordable.

Narrowed and loved by Americans lol I'm glad they're bringing them back. If there's no Tuner available for my truck I may just trade her in sadly. I test drove a G8 GT in Stryker Blue with the Black and Red interior and fell in love, one of very few times in my life where I'll say I miss a GM product. The Aussies love horse power

^Yeah pretty incredible what those big GM LS based v8's get. My buddy's LS1 camaro when stock got almost 30mpg hwy, and over 20mpg city. Also had a neighbor with a Z06 vette that got over 30mpg hwy. Of course that's if you can resist the 505hp....lol

It also helps that they're really aerodynamic, not to mention the Vette is mostly Fiberglass, Carbon Fiber and Aluminum. Add that to a very low wind resistance and that motor doesn't have to do to much work Now if you put that motor in a Ram and you might as well be the space shuttle

*Side Note*
I will say though that I'm very happy with this new Hemi motor, on the way to Gatty (Gatlinburg Tennessee) I averaged between 20 and 21 MPG during the 6 hour drive. As soon as I got on the highway, I reset the MPG readout when we were cruising at 75MPH and never touched it. In South Carolina I maxed it at 21.1MPG with the readout saying "DTE 406", fuel gauge was halfway between the 3/4 and full tank.
