Default high pitch rattling / ecthing noise

morning gang, trying to determine the cause of high pitch ratting noise from my 2011 ram sport 1500 4x4. truck has 900kms and noise has been there since the day i bought it. the noise comes on around the 3500 rpms under hard acceleration or by kicking down on the highway to pass. this noise comes and goes between shifts as the rpms rise to around the 3500rpm range, rattle starts the truck shifts rpms drop noise goes away, as the rpms rise again the rattle comes back. truck is at the shop as we speak and i know i will get we found nothing wrong story. anyone else ever heard this noise or ever experinced it? is this a TC problem?

sounds like the grinding post. Supposedly its the torque converter. I just found a new problem, the trans makes a loud metal cling when I shift form park to revers or drive when park on a slight hill. This did not happen yesterday, 1800 miles on its now. Suck ass

Do you use your parking brake or just rely on the parking pawl in the transmission? If you aren't using the parking brake all the weight of your truck is held in place by a rather small piece of metal. Sometimes these get damaged and can cause similar noises or in worst case even allow the truck to runaway down hill. If your truck rolls a bit when you take your foot off the brake all the weight and inertia from that roll are hitting the parking pawl and possibly damaging it. If this is the case I recommend starting to use the parking brake. The only fix will require going into the transmission.
