Default Front Passenger Seat Rattling

Well, I just passed the warranty kilometers a month or so ago, so I guess I had to expect SOME kind of trouble:

My front passenger seat rattles a bit when I go over small bumps in the road. Does anyone have this? If so is there any resolution?

It seems to have just started recently, and it has taken me a while to figure out WHAT is making the noise. I finally realized that if I grab the passenger seat and pull or hold on firmly as I drive it does not make the noise. That was the tip off.

Im wondering if there is something that can be tightened or adjusted?

also make sure that you put enough grease so that where the seat and the rails make contact when you hit the holes it wont rattles anymore

Great advice, Crusher, thanks! Rep points for helping me solve this annoying noise!

I wasn't thinking about grease... it seemed like something needed to be tightened.

I guess I will go see what kinds of grease Canadian Tire has for this type of application and get rid of the annoying rattle noise!

I'll let you know how it goes.

I thought mine was doing the same thing, but it was just the way the seat belt buckle was sitting against the plastic pillar.
Try fastening the seat belt and see if it happens.

I thought my seat was rattling it turned out to be the seat belt vibrating up against the door.

Don't forget to check the seat rails and the connections to make sure they are securely fastened.

And, check for any loose harnesses or cables underneath. Zip ties can be your friend if a clip has broken.

In the 2009s, they all had a passenger seat rattle, there was RRT out on it

maybe find out what they did on the RRT
