Talking 2011 dodge ram rt mod and exhaust question.

So I just bought a new ram and I need more power...already. I am going to get the diablo tuner, headers, exhaust, throttle body spacer, and cold air intake. Is this a good start? And if not any suggestions? On the exhaust I want something I could do fairly cheap But I don't want to make sacrifices I'll spend it if I have too. Also I would like to make it ready for the headers when I decide to do it. What about removing the resonators? Do I have too? Also any suggestions on the brands that I mentioned. Your help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Check out the 14 inch Magnaflow mufflers, I think they sound great. Get a new Y pipe as well and you'll be good to go for exhaust. Maybe 200 bucks for parts and labor. I have a HOOKER Max Flow muffler which has a nice tone but very quite, I will be getting a Magnaflow 14 soon.

Magnaflow 16869 kit has no drone, sounds great (loud when you want but mellow when you need it to be), and comes with 5" tips that look amazing! Not to mention it is all s/s with a lifetime warranty. Install took me about 30 minutes.

Also, be careful about the TB spacer, I believe most guys see much better results with a milled out TB than a spacer.

On the intake most people are happy with a K&N, I personally like the volant kits a good bit more.

That might be good for sound but I think I want a little more performance and the diablo tuner is coming out in dec jan FYI. And yes they do make headers

How hard it it to mill that thing out, and this exhaust you speak of is headers back?

The exhaust is cat back, but can easily be paired with a set of american racing headers (or any other brand you prefer). On the throttle body the hardest part about milling it out is knowing how large to make the hole and having the appropriate tooling. There is an aftermarket Fastman throttle body available, which is the route I would take.

Really lol they been saying 2 months for the last year but it would be nice but dont hold your breath. And as far as headers not sure but they might void your warranty.

And as far as drone it was bad on mine and i know a lot have had it so its a crap shoot you might hear it you might not but the res dont rob any sound or performance.

yea that would be a excellent start but like mentioned you just gotta wait for a programmer to be released for the 2011 and hopefully it will be soon enough and as for the exhaust i would go for the magnaflow catback with the 5 inch tips like mentioned above it sounds beautiful on our trucks......how about postin up a pic of your baby?
