Yeah upbadging isn't cool. Guy in my neighborhood with a 4.7 threw a hemi badge on his truck. If he would had removed the flex fuel badge in the back it wouldn't have been so noticable.

Go to the dealer and order the challenger HEMI badges, their 8-9 bucks a piece and would fit perfect on your hood. That's what I did....

Much easier to keep clean and no mystery water drips.

Don't let the water drips make you compromise on the badge you get! I combat those pesky drips by blow drying the problem areas with my leaf blower first. That gets all the 'hidden' water off the truck so the chamois can do its job.

There's no way, the guy on the phone either was looking at the wrong thing or is a idiot... When I bought mine, I was looking at the RT badge at $100 bucks and was like "You got to be joking". So then I asked the guy to look up the HEMI badge that was on the challenger hood and he was like there only 8-9 bucks a piece. I was sold.

When I used to own a '06 2500 ram, I went up to the dealer and bought the 2007-2012 BIG red and black RAM 2500 badges and they were 25 bucks a piece so I know that guy quoted you wrong.

That's exactly what I had him look up! I got mine from a buddy that de-badged his '11 Special Edition Charger (they came off the front fender). I noticed a couple of scratches right before I installed them though so I called the dealer. They said the Charger fender badge and the Challenger hood badge are the same p/n and that they're $30 a piece. I think I'll call the Parts Manager and have him look it up for me. I've had bad luck with the counter guys @ my dealership. It seems like I always get the quick and easy answer and many times it's wrong!

I DID come here for peoples opinions.

I DIDN'T come here to be called an *******.

Like I said "UP" badging was not my intent, I was simply looking for an appropraite badge that was the right size and shape.

I thought I had found it, but I am apparently hopelessly ignorant of some bizarre Dodge fanatic etiquette.

I have been thinking about buying a Master Blaster, will probably get one by next spring.

The only thing that worries me is some reports of this thing being so powerful it can actually blow badges off the vehicle.

Especially the ones that are thin and dont have alot of surface area to contact the vehicle.

So, I'm still glad I took off the factory badges because they are impossible to clean and just trap dirt and water. Not to mention they extended almost the entire length of the front door.

I think I want to put something on to break up this giant red wall, but it can't have any holes in it (like the zero's or the 'R' & 'A' portion of the factory badges)

I have seen people relocate their badges onto the bridge of the hood and while I was tinkering with the idea I discovered what I think is a pretty good place for a badge on the side of the hood.

The Hemi badge will fit there, but just barely. What I really needed was something that it only about an inch tall and longer.

I searched and searched for a '345 HEMI' badge to no avail, and eventually found the SRT8 badges which were the perfect size and shape with no holes.

Yes I know I can have custom badges made but I assume it would be insanely expensive.
I thought my big white CC Sport was a bit of a blank canvas so I added some graphics. I have had them on there for a couple months now and I am not sure if I am going to keep the rear graphic or not. I really like the front though. It follows the line in the fender perfectly and I can be made in any color.

That looks great!

How difficult was install?

FWIW I would leave it just as it is, the vertical stripe in the back ties it all together.
