Default New replacement dashboard 03 Dodge Ram 1500

I just got my replacement dash for my 03 Ram 1500. While trying to repair heater the old dash ( which was cracked already) fell apart in several pieces.I ordered the replacement last Wed. It arrived today ,10 day turn around. It seems to be built better than the original.I will post update and pics after install complete.I ordered the dash from Dashcovers Plus Depot. Excellent customer service and follow up on tracking my order.By the way my heater problem was 3 doors ( 2 blend and 1 recir)and a blocked heater core. The dealer wanted $950 plus tax for the new dashboard. I didn't ask how much to install.I paid $657 delivered to my door.Wish me luck.

I just finished install. Everything fit good. I checked everything out all lights, heater etc working.I didn't paint the new dashboard. It matches ok for me. My wife even liked it. I would give this dashboard a B+.It was a lot of work. The finished product looks good.

Hello Willpon,

Your installation looks to be spot on. I know it is a lot of work, but hopefully it is a one time thing. Currently, I know of three places to purchase a replacement dash for the 2003.

Dashcoverplus.com
Actionsalvage.com
Sandkindustries.com

At SandKindustries.com, they have the cheapest for this replacement dash at ~$485.00.

In any case, I was wondering if you could take more pictures for us so that we can get a better understanding of how it looks.

If you had to do it over again, would you have paited it?

Be glad that you didn't get the replacement dash from Dodge, from what i read they crack again, because of the type of material & the screws get over tightened
A cloth dash cover keeps the ultraviolet rays from the plastic & they look good
I have one on my '09, it takes the glare off the windshield too
