Default Help Required With My AC Battles

2005 2500 Cummins

So, I bought my truck last week in SW Texas without AC.... My bad...
I am living out of a hotel, but I have access to the hobby shop on base to work on it, but when I popped the hood the first thing that I recognized is that the fan isn't working. I researched on here (love this site) and found where the wiring and such is at for it. I got under the truck and found that one of the wires as broken and tried to splice it. No love. Changed out the clutch for the fan this morning. I now have a working fan. However, I now can't control anything climate control wise other than the fan speed and possibly temp (It's so hot I can't tell if I have the heater on or if it is the 104 temp outside). I can't select where the air comes out at or get a light out of the AC or defroster. I've pulled the panel and unplugged and replugged the temp control panel. Nothing. So why would the controls stop working?

So while driving through town I saw a place that said free AC checks. I had them take a look. I'm sitting at 80 lbs on the low side and 500 lbs on the high side. UMMMMM.... WTF. I just had an evac and recharge from another shop three days ago. I'm taking it back to them in the AM to see what they have done.

My bit of knowledge gained. They took they cover off of the relay for the AC pump and by pushing on the metal inside of the relay they were able to trip the AC compressor on to check the pressure and function of the compressor. By doing this they've also ruled out power to the compressor/relay issue as a fault. So my heater control module needs to be replaced.
