Default Tailgate badge

Has anyone taken the tailgate Ram badge off?

I have an 2011 R/T and want to take this off but if it is sitting in an indention I would leave it alone. If it is flat I think it would look cleaner without the badge.
Any pics if you have done this would be helpful.

thanks

The badge sits in a slight indent in the tailgate... there are also 3 holes behind it.

Why not just put a nice custom one in there to replace the stock one ?

I went and ordered a 11 tailgate logo to put on my 09. It will delete the "Dodge" on mine. I'm looking forward to switching it.

Same as any other badging on the truck... some fishing line and goo be gone is all you need.

I swapped mine out with the light-up one from AutoZone - http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...er=156482_0_0_
