Default Need advice on mods

Hi I need some advice on mods for the toy. Im looking at a cat back, headers from lmc. Who makes them? And a spacer set with a throttle body mod. If anyone has this done on there truck let me know if it's worth it for extra mpg, some ponys. Or if you have done some I don't know of im interested in learning. Thanks

i have done the throttle body mod, and love the results, i bought a 3" catback that a local shop put together, it sounds like a monster and definately has more get up and go to it, the throttlebody spacer does make it "almost" impossible to fit the cold air intake in the truck, but after some wresteling i got it back on. i got a blaster coil from msd not sure if i really got too much out of that one, but i have my eyes set on some pacesetter shorty headers, summit has them for like $230 and they are smog legal (i live in california)

as far as mpgs go, they all seemed to improve until i put 35" tires on, big mistake, need to find some innexpencive 33"

Sounds good the headers im looking into work on factory y pipe. And when I do start the work im replaceing the whole set up incl cat, was the mod on throttle body difficult? Should I do a donor to have a spare? Ive herd the mod also makes the intake louder? Not that it matters.

By the way is your beast auto or manual? Mine is 2 wheel manual so when I do mods it should be more fun to drive. Not that it can't be a blast now when I want

the mod was not difficult, just tedious, having an eye for detail is key, every little bit matters. as far as making the intake louder, it did make a kind of sucking sound when you first hit the throttle, but i think it sounds cool, some people don't like it, however i have a 3" cat back so making out little sounds can be difficult. also mine is 2wd manual as well, and as for the headers, the pacesetter ones do utilize the factory y pipe as well
