Default why dont these work

I am in the process of turning my interior lights to led and i would like to figure out why these lights dont work. They are the map lights on the roof concile of the truck. They don't turn on when you open the door nor is their a click or any resistance when you push them. I took a picture of them so you can see them. But i would like to know how to fix them properly so let me know of you have any advise for me thanks

Also im having problems postin pics from my phone so tomorrow i will post the pic

This is gonna sound stupid, but here is it. Do you have the bulbs in correctly? I dont know what kind of bulbs you have, but some are polarized and some are non-polarized. The non-polarized bulbs will work whichever way you put them in, but the polarized will only work if inserted properly... hot to hot, ground to ground.

Actuletly you arnt the first person to say that, I did try that and it was a no go but I am going to check again.

The truck didnt come with bulbs which is the weird thing, and when i pulled the lights out to fix them I noticed the clicker button is missing for me to push the lights and get them to work which I thought was weird
