Default need help asap no spark

hey i ve a 2001 ram 5.2L V8 4x4 sat for a few mounths but i started it about once a week. had a few rough starts then nothing. i have replaced coil, cap, rotor pickup coil and about to do crankshaft position sensor which is gonna be a bitch from what i can see. any tips or tricks? any other ideas what the problem could be its driving me nuts and i need to get this truck on the road. please help me out here

With the key on, verify you actually have power to the coil. Also check for power to the crankshaft sensor, and you can test its output to verify it is outputting its pulse signal. I am unsure of the values you should read, but if you have a manual you can find out.

EDIT. I did a little research for you. You may want to check the Automatic Shutdown Relay, it is in the fuse box under the hood, it supply's power to the coil and to the injectors. Also the values for the camshaft sensor, which is located in the distributor, 3 wires, 1 is sensor ground, 1 is 5v in, and one should be a 5 volts out pulse signal. This should get you started on troubleshooting your spark issue.

If I were you, I'd reboot the computer before going after the crank sensor, sure can't hurt .
