Default How do you SeaFoam your Intake?

I've been reading about the negative effects of the PVC system and how it coats the intake. I've just ordered the Moroso 85479 catch can and am confident this will solve the problem. I've only got 4500 miles on the Ram but would like to know how to Seafoam the intake as talked about here. Can/should the TB removed and cleaned also?

You can remove the TB and clean with carb cleaner, being careful not to tear the rubber o rings and seals when removing sensors. To seafoam the intake, remove the brake booster vacumme line from the booster side and dribble seafoam in it very very slowly so not to kill the truck. If you have alot of build up you will probly create a smoke screen...lol but thats normal. Make sure to add some to the fuel to help aid in cleaning the internals of everything. Pretty simple to do, I just let it drip in by covering the seafoam can opening with my thumb and let it dribble.

They make a Seafoam spray now for the TB. Are you talking about this or can one just take the intake tube off and spray the seafoam spray directly into the TB?

Go to the Seafoam website and watch the how-to videos...that is the best way to get an explination!
I use the spray for the TB and the motor treatment for the gas tank and the oil
