Default Rear wheels won't come loose!

Hey all,
I'm replacing the wheel valves on the rear and front callipers on my "new" (1995 1500 4x4)...at least that's what I was trying to do. The truck sat for quite some time and I just got it up-n-runnin and back to my shop. The brakes needed to be bled but I tried everything that I knew to move the bleeders and nothin, so I decided I'd limp it home and deal with it there. It took me nearly 3 hours to just get the lugs to turn on all four tires...lubes, torque, blow torch...they were friggin fused on tighter than a welded joint!!! I even had to cut one of the bolts off...that said, I finally got all of the lugs off and pounded on the front tires and they came off with a little 8lb mallets help but the rear wheels wont budge! My buddy tells me that his ma had the same problem after less than 6,000 miles on her car and its common for steel wheeled vehicles...but I've never had a problem like this before. It's sat for a long time and I can feel the rust inbetween the rim and drum so I'm soakin it for the night. Anyone know of a quick trick to splittin these bastards off this damn thing!!??
Thanks ahead of time,
D

I'd try some penetrating fluid, then a sledgehammer from the backside.

Ive never had that problem with steel wheels only aluminum. I go with the sledge on front then back, side to side.

I had this problem with the front wheels on my 96 Sebring, no amount of sledge would get them off, I finally ended up loosening the lug nuts and driving around the block to break it loose one set of new studs later it was fixed.

Same problem here with my 97... The 4x4's wheels are tight on the hub due to the stress of off roading and hauling and all that so a little rust scale built up on those hubs where they stick past the rim ...soak them good with wd or any penetrating oil and use a wire brush to remove as much rust as you can, once the wheel starts to move it will come off easily, Took me almost 20 minutes of beating on it with a 6 pound sledge but got it... just rotate the wheel as you beat away... or if youre replacing the wheels just knock em with a standard sledge....lol
Just take your time so you dont warp a rim if you are keeping them.
