Default Oldmike

Every time I come to a stop, I have to wait about 3 to 5 seconds and I feel a clunk as the tranny shifts back into first gear. I complained to the dealer who checked it on the computer and said the shift patterns indicate no problem. The recently did a software upgrade to the tranny which seemed to help but I still notice it at certain times. Has anyone else felt this issue with the transmission.

Default Not Transmission

I bet you have the 32 Gal. gas tank. If so, this is not your transmission.
The 32 gal. tank does not have the correct baffles to eliminate the gas from moving too much. This usually happens when the gas tank is approx. 1/2 to 3/4 from full.

It is most likely the fuel sloshing around when you come to a stop, I have the same issue at 3/4 to 1/2 tank

I agree with them. My 2011 with the 32gal tank does the same thing.

I was experiencing the same thing. I will sometimes feel a slight thump after coming to a complete stop, usually after some hard breaking. First time a noticed it, I thought I got rear ended. I also have the 32 gal tank. Had no idea it was the fuel moving around. Thanks for the information. I couldn't figure that one out.
