Default Dave Dennis CJD

Kudos to Dave Dennis CJD of Beavercreek, Ohio. Have bought 8 vehicles from them and would go back. They are military friendly and have never had an important service problem. This year they are giving out "turkey cards" to customers as a thank you! (Visa gift cards). It's always a pleasure to deal with them, and I routinly stop in just top chat or ask questions.

My experiences with Whitten Bros. has been nothing but positive from the moment I rolled up to the dealership to "look" around to this day.

http://www.whittenbrothers.net/tcd/h...1&locale=en_US

Customer Service from the sales dept. to service is nothing short of exceptional during every visit/call/contact!

Drop me a PM if you're interested in visiting for whatever reson and I'll forward a name or two.

A BIG fat.... .... and then some more!

Default Post Your Positive Dealer Experiences

OK, we've all had the bad experiences with dealers (Ram or others) and so many get posted they just seem to blend together. However, I know from experience that not all dealerships are like that so I propose, since the holiday season is upon us, that perhaps we post some experiences that were positive. Something where you felt the dealership went above and beyond to save you money or keep you rolling or even just in some way did something you felt like saying thank you for.

I'm not sure, but I presume we're not allowed to use the dealer names and try to keep the responses positive.

The day after Christmas last year we were driving to Florida witht he kids to see my parents. NY to SC day one and SC to FL day two. As we passed Fredericksburg, VA the front end started to shake rather badly. I managed to get off the road to take a look. Nothing seemed loose but I could feel the heat coming from the left front wheel. It turned out the caliper had locked up.

I called around and the local dealer said bring it in. We crawled the few miles back up the highway and got to the dealer. It was the day after Christmas and since Christmas was on a Sunday last year the dealer only had a skeleton staff on Monday. They originally said they could look at it Tuesday but after explaining our situation the dealer said he would get us back on the road. They replaced the bad caliper, brake pads, left rotor, and turned the right rotor. It was under warranty so the total cost was $50 to turn the right rotor.

They drove us to a restaurant so we could feed the kids while they worked on the truck and the total time we lost was only two hours. If they weren't so far from home they'd probably have a customer for life.

I've been 100% happy with Quirk Jeep Chrysler Dodge in Bangor, Maine. They were the Mercedes dealership until recently. The fancy coffee maker went to the new MB dealer and now the coffee sucks. Other than that, they treat me like royalty. They give me Mopar parts at a good discount, always save me the latest Mopar magazine, and they HAVE NEVER LIED to me! Can't say that about the Toyota dealer that I used before coming to MOPAR.

I have had good experiences with Carl Burger Dodge in La Mesa California
When i first bought my Ram, i took the dust cover off from above my radiator/grille area
i saw the radiator & i thought that someone did a hack job on it, it had saw cuts at the top of it, i asked about it, the dealerships Service Writer took one look at it & ordered me a new one. It turns out that they are made that way on purpose.

The original Parts guy used to research parts for me & give me his discount when we decided on the best part for me, he decided for some reason to leave the dealership, i think it was because they eliminated the Cashiers position & everyone had to do their own paperwork & handle money/checks/credit cards, etc. Customers stand in line waiting to pay for services, so they can get on the road now.

They now have 3 Courtesy vans & readily give out vouchers for a Enterprise Rent a Car (Ford only)

I have no complaints & i take them donuts for bribes, which reminds me, i need my Ram serviced & my Bakery has closed their doors for good, which is bad

Since my selling dealership has been closed since 2009 and they were awesome to deal with, sales, parts and service, never had a problem, I now split my business between two dealerships, Lapeyrouse Motors in Jeanerette, LA and Acadiana Dodge in Lafayette, LA.

I have had some issues with Lapeyrouse in the past on another vehicle (shoddy work for what they called a "deal" of a price, vehicle returned dirty/greasy and a nice scratch in a door that they refused to admit they had done even though it was not there when I brought it in), they are relegated to oil changes/maintenance.

Acadiana Dodge handles any mechanical/warranty issues (they did the second pinion seal under warranty in 2010 and my evaporator core in December of that same year). If you don't want a loaner vehicle and would rather wait, they have a shuttle service that will drop you off somewhere and pick you up when your vehicle is done. They listen to your concern and work to get to the bottom of the symptoms you describe. Service gives you an estimated time frame to complete the repair and they come out ahead of schedule, well worth the hour or so drive to deal with them!
