Unhappy Someone Dissed My Baby

Okay so it had to happen right ! Some Jack A$$ backed into my rear bumper and put a dent in it. No note and I just noticed today after I washed her. I'm kind of at a loss as to where it happened since I am so careful when parking. Anyway it's in a bad spot just where the upper bend starts so I'm thinking this is difficult to fix right. Any ideas or will I just have to live with it ?

I know this wont help, but I will say it anyhow: Its small... It COULD be worse!

(I know... that didn't help at all, did it. I'll upload some pics of my dents to make you feel better!)

That just sucks! Too small for a claim, but big enough to remind you of it's existence every time you see the back of your truck.

I would likely go to my dealer's body shop and ask them if they could fill and paint it. If the cost was not ridiculous, I'd just do it. If the cost was going to be through the roof, I think I would open a claim. When the rest of the vehicle is immaculate, the claims people seem to understand how major, and minor mark like this can be.

LOL, first mark has to happen sometime, makes the rest easier to take
I put the first dent on my vehicle, rear bumper, i also put another one right in the corner, no warning either time from the parking sensors

Then there is the door dent, parking lot damage, someone used my door to stop their rear door from falling off its hinges
Then people just love to back into my front bumper & lean their bicycles against it, those non slip peddles gouge the heck out of plastic

I think i will be visiting a Bumper Doctor that also does Paintless Dent Removal soon

look under the 2 on my license plate

Sorry to hear this buddy! I'd at least have someone take a look at it and see what they'd charge for the repair. The paintless dent guys can do wonders, so it might be worth a try.

Be glad you didn't get your first one like my dad. He was getting a load of gravel dumped into his 1-ton cummins and the operator didn't have enough clearance between the box and his bucket

Man, I hate to hear that... I'm always check around my truck before I leave a store. I have a few scratches here and there but luckly no dents yet. I was unfortunate enough though to have some A-hole scratch my front bumper (looks like they dragged a cart against it), but you can hardly see it unless you get close.
