Question Just got my new vehicle survey from RAM!

My new vehicle survey just came by email from RAM. I've spent the last hr. or so being brutally honest (T/C issues, small paint issue, rear slider window controls, etc...) Fell pretty good about giving good, honest feedback.

Question is this - Does anyone know where exactly these answers go? A couple of these issues are very new and there hasn't been much of a chance for my dealer (who I'm very happy with BTW) to diagnose and solve. I'd hate for my comments (intended for Chrysler Engineering and not necessarily my dealer) to come back on them unintentionally. Do you think I should wait a couple of days while I check with my dealer or go ahead and fire this off 'as is'?

As far as I know, they actually go back to RAM. You probably answered some questions about your dealership experience? I know when I filled mine out, I had great things to say about my dealership and my truck but I took my time and made sure I gave the best, honest answers I could because I think what they're looking for is overall satisfaction, not only with their product, but also with those who sell their product. If there were problems with your truck, this reflects more on the factory build quality than it does the dealership so I think you'll be safe sending it in.

They go back to the Ram Engineering group. They evaluate the comments and track areas of concern. If they get enough feedback on a poorly operating or poorly designed feature, they work on an improvement.

So this doesn't get your dealer in trouble (they didn't make the truck, they just sold the truck) but it is valuable information to the engineers and QA/QC folks.
