Default how to adjust the headlights

hey guys,
I am hoping someone can be of some assistance. I uninstalled my old fogged out headlights with some blacked out headlights that i got... from all places ebay. I know i know but they looked pretty similar to the ones that were already on the truck as far as the housing is concerned and they are exactly the same. Only problem is, and i figured that this would be an issue, is that i get in and the headlights are pointing down when they are in the housing. They point toward the road but they dont really do much by way of illumination of the road... which stinks... my fog lights do a better job right now of illuminating the road... anyone know if maybe ive overtightened a bolt or something? I appreciate the help in advance.

I'd be interested in knowing the answer to this on my 2010 as well. Drove it off the lot and the freakin headlights illuminate straight down so I can't see anything ahead of me. Annoying.

if they are a aftermarket type of light there should be 2 screws on the back part of the light and if they are anything like my old car that i had they will be a pain in the ass to get aligned....maybe put up a pic of the back of the light to help us out a lil more so we can see what your dealing with

To lower the light, do turn clockwise?
