Default 2wd leveling kit and 35s? urgent..

Hey guys, I ordered an ebay leveling kit for my 2001 dodge ram 4x2. I was under the Impression I could fit 35s under there with no problem. They will be on xd series wheels, so they should be good turning radius wise. I just wanna make sure they will fit before i go buy them tomorrow... What say you?? Otherwise the truck Is stock. Please help, I told the guy i would be there in the morning tomorrow, and I dont want to purchase some expensive paper weights!

If it's a 1500 they won't work. You might....and I mean might get a 285/75 which is about a 33x11.5 tire in there properly.

There some details missing. How much lift does your kit provide? Is just a front spacer?

It'd be tight on a 2500 but has been done...just to prove a point which is stupit if the tires rub when you turn.

In perspective 5 inches of properly installed lift is right for a 4x4 with 35 inch tires, and your truck sits about 2 inches lower than a standard 4wd truck. You can get a 33 inch tire under a 4x4 without lifting it.

it says it will provide 3 inches of lift for the front, and i got 1 inch blocks for the back.

I went to get the wheels and tires today. and luckily the lug spacing did not match up! lol so i didnt get them. im look around for some 33s then. thanks for your input man.

im gonna put the level on today. i will post some before and after pictures in here later!

With 3" and an aftermarket wheel I think you could fit a 295 or 305 metric tire the would measure to be around 34.5" theoretically (I wanna say 305/70/17))

ya it depends on wheel and tire selection. I had 34" tire with a 2.5" spacer with no rub at all on a factory 20" ram wheel and went to a procomp 15x10 and a 33" tire and have slight rub at full turn when you hit a bump.
