I have a 2" level with 33x12.5" x stock 20's. I wish I would have gone to 35's... the 33's look great and im sure are a bit better on fuel than 35's but for an extra 200 bucks I should have just bought 35's, In the spring I am ging to buy 35's with 18 inch rims and nuse the 33's and stocks in the winter

Pics taken just now... front end is in a bit of a rut so it doesnt look very level but it is exactly 35" from bottom lip of rim to fender in the front and back..

I think you should go with one of the metric sizes I mentioned earlier or the size phildo mentioned. You would have a tire nearly 35" without rubbing or having to worry about spacers...

I just leveled my truck about a month ago and put 33" Toyo M/t's on it. 33's leave quite a bit of space and I almost think I should have gone 35's, but too late now!

It sounds like most of the guys who bought 33's wish they had bought 35's instead. But if I buy 35's they will rub unless I use a 1/4" spacer, then I'm okay. I can't find the metric sizes mentioned in a Toyo MT.

If I buy 35's and new wheels, what would I look for in backspacing and what rim diameter would look best in your opinion?
I like the Dick Cepeck Torque wheels. I can get 20x9 with 5.5 back spacing, 18x8.5 with 4.75 back spacing or 17x8.5 with 5" back spacing.
Which of these wheel sizes would work best for my truck with 35" tires, 2" level kit and pocket fender flares?
I think my stock 20x9 wheels have a back spacing of 5.25" If I buy new wheels do I want more back spacing or less? 5.5" or 4.75"?
Thanks guys for all the input.

when I do it ov er again next year I am doing 35x12.5 on 18x9's I find that looks best and makes it look like you have more tire, also It costs ALOT less than 20 rims and tires to fit.... 8.5 is getting to be a pretty narrow rim for a 12.5" tire, all tire manu's say you can do it but you will have more centre tire wear, if you cant go 9 than dont go any less than 8.5... and no idea about back spacing, I cant help you on tha one

GO WITH 35'S!!!!!!!!!!

Dan

If your set on the toyos go with the 275/65/20 and you'll have a 34" tire and not have to worry about rubbing

I would like to go with a wider tire than the 275/65/20.

my personal opinion is i would go with 33's with just a leveling kit as 35's might look too stuffed

I have the RC lvling kit and called them last nite, they told me that the lvl kit (2.5 front and 1.75 rear) would not fit 35's, not with a width issue, but that they are too tall.
