Default Firestone Destination A/T's

Well, I got a little over a year and 22,000 miles out of my Stock Goodyear's. I probably could have gotten a little more out of them but I am taking a trip with the family from PA to FLA and I didn't want to risk bad traction to save a few bucks now.

Anyway. The tire LOOKS pretty nice. I have no report at this point because the only have about 20 miles on them. Initial ride felt fine. We will see how they do over the long haul. I wanted to start this thread so I can report back over the next several months leading into the winter also.

I paid $820 out the door for all 4. My uncle's tire shop. He said I could ride my old tires but if I encounter any rain take it easy. They were at 3/32 tread so I wasn't going to risk it. I hope the Firestone's are a pretty good tire. He wasn't able to give me much advice because he doesn't deal much firestone, these just so happened to be in stock because a cutomer ordered them for thursday. My only other option TODAY was stock Goodyears, NO THANKS!

I will post some pics later if I get a chance. Otherwise I will post after I return.

Default firestone destination

I have the firestone destination on my 2012 sport and really like them. nice and quiet on the road and superb traction in all weather conditions. I highly recommend them.

I put a set of these on after my stock Goodyears. I have had them for 9 months now and have been pleased with them so far. We got some snow and ice over the winter and traction was pretty good. Wet traction has also been good, don't feel like I'm going to go off the road.

I put these on an FX4 ranger and a FX4 f150. Great tires, smooth and never felt like they lacked traction.
