Default Wheel Spacers-Nitto Terra Grappler

I damaged a rim and tire tonight on a pothole. SO TIME FOR NEW TIRES.

I have a replacement 20"rim on order. I have the chrome five spoke's on my Express, which I will be keeping in the tire / lift upgrade.

I am upgrading to Nitto Terra Grappler (AT) tires in 295/65/20 with a 2" leveling spacer kit. I understand I need a set of 1/4" rim spacers for the correct offset to prevent rubbing at full lock. Who makes/sells hub centric wheel spacers, and how much am I looking at spending? I want to hopefully have the spacers and tires installed in the next few weeks, I heard something that spacers can take awhile, as they have to be made?

Thanks!

It may be worth your time to pick up a set of universal spacers and try them first. A lot of owners run them with absolutely no issues. You should be able to get them at about any auto parts or tire store for around $20-30. The only real possible issue with these spacers is possible vibrations since they are not hub or wheel centric and could therefore be installed off center. For the price and availability as compared to hub centric spacers, you really don't have anything to lose by trying. Worse case scenario is you get vibes and have to order the hub centrics after all.

If you do go with hub centric I would call the folks at Motorsport Tech. I'm wanting to say a set of two (that's really all you need) hub centric spacers was running around $125 but I may be off on that. Call em' up....they will help you.

You may get away running that tire size without wheel spacers at all... however some guys do rub with 295's so it's a wise idea to have a set on hand just in case.

I posted up Lenny's (owner of Motorsport Tech) email in another thread you posted in. Give him a shout about some hub centric spacers.
