Those aren't replacement wheel skins. Those are aftermarket snap or bolt-on type skins that are made to be installed over a factory painted wheel to make it look chrome. Very similar to the OEM chrome clad setup I know but not the same. I suppose you could strip the cladding off of a chrome clad wheel and install this over the messy finish that is left behind but I would want to do some research first to make sure it is going to look just like your factory rims. My guess is that it will not.

Haven't tried it on a dodge yet but I have done it to a few Ford's.

OK... how do I get them off? I have the 17s and I know they come off because I can see a weight on the rim under the plastic cover. I don't want to pry on it only to find it's screwed on from the inside.

I love the Chrome Clad 20's. I use Armor All glass wipes on them. They are fast and easy to clean. Way easier than my old chrome rims...

Every time I start thinking about these plastic wheels, it just makes my blood boil. The cover can't be replaced either? what was the point, why not just put non chrome aluminum wheels on it? This is just a slap in the face in my opinion! What a sucker I was not to catch it.

Someone point me towards the pics of 4th gen crew cabs with after market wheels.... please! I can't stand them any longer

I hear you. I had mine replaced under warranty once due to Chrome peeeling off. Within 12 months the same thing happened again. Swapped them out for these...

You could also Plasti Dip them as well..

I can understand that I sold.the chrome clad 20's for $400 and picked up a set of 20x9 Dick cepek torque wheels in black and machined for $800 installed.

Once I see a set of 2013 sport wheels for sale - I'm buying them.

The chrome clad doesn't bother me, but they're a royal PITA to dry, since water gets trapped behind the chrome cladding!
