Default Bull Bar Installation

I have a 2007 Ram 1500 and want to install a bull bar. Wondering if any body has done this and was it an easy install. Most say no drill, but was there any cutting or modifactions need to the vehicle to get the job done. Like the look of the Aries Bar.

Should be a straight forward bolt on. I believe you have to unbolt the bumper to do it.

I think you just pop out the plastic piece that is in the middle of your bumper and it bolts right to the frame. I could be wrong but i'm pretty sure that's it.

Just wondering if you ever installed a bar? I bought one and of course the directions are so worthless I can't use them. I just can't see how it would mount without removing the entire bumper and possibly having to remove the strange plates that are keeping me from installing the brackets.

installed one on my 02 and had to pop out the plastic insert in the bumper. the one i had was a westin and the bracked attached to where the tow hooks would go. took me forever to figure out the proper way they attached (bought mine off CL and no instructions) didnt have to remove bumper or anything other than the plastic insert
