Default Trans trouble

Recently my truck started to dump transmission fluid from the fill tube. This dumps it out right onto the headers which gets a bit exciting to say the least. It seems to do it after it is first started and runs for a few minutes. It seems to happen when sitting at a stoplight or, sign, and in gear. It appears to go away, then return the next time I drive it. It may not do it for weeks, then starts doing it every time I drive it for the next week. The only vent I found comes out of the transfer case, I'm not finding one for the trans. I don't believe it's the vent at any rate, because it comes and goes, plugged vents usually stay plugged. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as always.

You likely have a plugged cooler line, or the cooler itself could be plugged.
