Default 1500 rust repairs

hi i just got a good deal on a nice 2005 1500 QC 4x4 that i want to keep for a while. i bought it knowing it had some rust issues underneath and am willing to tackle them myself. The other day i sanded and did my oil pan with the POR 15 starter kit and it turned out real good and i will be doing some other things underneath as time and money permits.

my question today is specifically on the rear wheel well rust. mine is just starting to bubble under the paint on both sides and i know it is worse than it looks at this point. the wheel well has a cover of some sort in it that prevents me from feeling the real underside. i see mention of removing the rear tail light and being about to get it there. would i be able to get my arm in there to treat it with POR 15?

i really don't want to drop thousands on side panel replacements at this point so if i can do a decent stopgap i want to try it.

any suggestions?

its only 2 bolts holding the tail light on take them off see what ur dealing with.but simple answer is not likely. you would need to make a sanding block on a long stick(extension pole) to get in there for work.
