ok, i looked real good and on top of the blue plug is labeled aux. brakes. must be for trailer brake options. so that is ruled out now. i also did the cluster check and all gauges, including speedo worked. so now im really stumped. only thing i can think of is a big coincidence that the speed sensor went bad at same time i took dash out.
if my speedo worked with cluster check then grounds must be good, right?

Lol, mine either and that's the way I wanted it...less to go wrong...less to fix.

It's a classic example of less is more. I do have the 2/75 A/C though. Roll down 2 windows and do 75.

No cruise, no tilt. The only things on mine that start with power are brakes and steering.

ok so we know the computer had no sig from sensor so lets try this is the sensor its self geting power? you know dash, computer have power you need to look and see where the speed sensor runs check all of the wire, grounds. like the manual shows there are 3 points that have conection. the only bad thing is the diagram that they give you in the book has no flow to it at all. it confuses the hell out of me and I kind of know how to read these things!

what code are you geting should be code po 500 to 503 if you have the manual the check for speed sensor is sec 6-32 step#65 you will need a good volt meter. if there is a prob with the sig comeing from computer see if you can get a better diagram from dealer or if you listen to the book (last resort) take it to dealer.
