Default Tailgate Direct Replacement Needed

I have a 2011 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn in black. I dinged my tailgate and now need a replacement. Can you get them already in OEM color match so I don't have to get them painted? Let me know. Thanks.

I would think having it repaired would be far cheaper than replacing it. That is of course if it is only dinged and not mangled. Most body shops can do a paintless repair or know someone that does. How bad did you mess it up?

No it will have to be painted, unless you can find someone selling one that is painted.

I had a guy at a bodyshop look at it and he suggested finding a factory replacement because the dent goes through 2 different body lines.

Ouch! From the looks of it, might just be better to replace it, though I don't see why a quality shop couldn't repair it, those creases are precisely stamped pieces of metal and like Stainless said, unless you find someone selling a painted one, gonna have to have it painted. Good luck getting it fixed though!

some companies sell tailgate Shells, you would have to use your parts to make a complete assembly
