Default Replaced Rear Diff Pinion Seal

I replaced the rear differential pinion seal this morning. Seemed to go okay and believe I got the pinion nut seated to the same depth it was before I took it off. Used the marks I made, re-installed the drive shaft and have been out for a couple of spins. Doesn't appear to be leaking fluid any more.

Besides the new seal leaking is there anything else I should be on the look out for if I did something incorrectly? It could be my imagination but I thought I felt a very slight vibration - would that indicated that I didn't get the drive shaft seated properly to the pinion flange? Or not in the same position it was before I unbolted it?

TIA for your thoughts.

as an update, the new seal is leaking as it turns out....I'll tear it apart this weekend to see what happened. I'm confident it's seated properly. I did notice that the end of the pinion flange (that fits into the diff) had two 1/8 wide lines that were more worn than the rest of the pinion. They did not feel markedly lower than the surrounding metal though - they were not gouges.

Yep, had my seal and yoke replaced twice under warranty. Hopefully the last fix is going to hold.
