Default lifting my 3500

Hello new to the site I would like to lift my dually. who makes the best lift? I would like to lift it at least 5 inches. I was looking at superlift and skyjacker.

I would say a BDS suspension system would be best for that truck, if that doesnt like fit your taste I would say skyjacker.

BDS or TGC (top gun customz) seem to be the most popular for the 2500/3500. They both make a long arm 8" and a short arm 6" lift kit that clear 37s no problem

BDS, TGC, Skyjacker and a few others all make good kits you wont be disapointed with. If you want the best, you better be prepared to drop some serious cash.

pure-performance dot biz

not cheap by any means, but no one comes close to there quality either....think of them as a botique manufacturer that likes to race!!!

Superlift and Skyjacker are both mall crawler kits! inexpensive , ride like crap and hurt performance offroad.

Pure performance is towards the topend.
IMHO the topend is a Carli suspension SYSTEM.
Carli has actually run the Baja 1000 with their kits

whatever kit you get, GET the LONG ARM!

Carli is definitely a way to go. it was their customer service that turned me off, not their products. IMHO Pure Performance is just as good a quality, but better CS. Either way the OP goes he wont be disapointed.

I love all you guy's that think this way (Mall Crawler kits).
It all depends on what a person plans on doing with their truck, and how soft a ride they want.
If your wanting to fly across the desert, climb rocks, ride like you're in a car, then Carli/Pure Performance/BDS all make the kits for it.

I play in the mud, climb hills, and hunt out of my truck, plus use it to pull my trailers loaded to 10K-12K lbs of crap and like it to ride like a 3/4 ton truck
For what I do with my truck a lift from Rancho/Superlift/or Skyjacker is all that I need or want on my trucks.

Everyone uses their truck's for different purposes, and there are lift's that will work for different ones.

I agree. a lift kit is a lift kit. sure there are top end companies and cheap companies (getting what you pay for), but you use it for what your planning on using it. it's your truck after all. I had a fabtech and a bds, both performed as I needed.

there's plenty of people who would knock suspension lift "kits". unless your HONESTLY using the truck off road every single day, crawling, bogging, or whatever, I say get what you can afford, what fits your needs and uses with the truck.

I had a 3/4 ton truck with a 6" short arm Fabtech kit and I HATED it!, the truck rode WORSE than any STOCK truck out there! I spent nearly $2K trying to make it ride better. changing to a longarm kit, upgrading to Bilstein 5100/5150's, and upgraded steering system/ damper. all that improved things quite a bit BUT it still rode WORSE than my 1 ton DUALLY! and pretty much across the board performs worse than a stock 3/4 ton, both on AND OFFROAD! and lifting the truck NEUTERED its capability for towing. I couldn't pull a 5th wheel AT ALL, a gooseneck is marginal, and by the time the hitch is low enough to pull a tag, trailer, the truck couldn't pull anything hardly! It WASN't that the truck didn't have the puwer to do it, the lift, wheels, and tires made it physically too tall. i had a 6" drop hitch and the hitch is still too tall for most trailers and was weight limited to ONLY 3500# Finally, asking a truck to pull those weights with lift, wheels, and tires problematic at BEST!
