Default Tire Rotation Question

Sorry if this has been asked before, I searched but did not see anything.

I have a 1500 SLT Big Horn 4x2. I am at tire rotation time and I have a question about the pressure sensors. Since they show each tires inflation, how do I rotate and keep the correct tire showing in my dash readout? Is there an over-inflation re-learn that some other cars have? I hate to pay the dealer for such a simple task. Thanks guys.

They are sensors and the computer always knows, at least on my wife's truck anyways. She has had hers rotated every oil change and she is at 19K and some change. On mine the Express, they either don't come with them or mine is broke. Either way I hope I don't have them on mine.

I've rotate mine three times now and the EVIC always knows where each tire is. They must be coded to the tire/wheel so the EVIC knows how to display them.

You should have them on your Express. If you don't have the EVIC where it displays the tire pressures, you won't notice anything unless one of the pressures is not right, then you'll just have the light on the dash that comes on.

The value on your tires is the tire pressure sensor. As long as the tire is mounted, the system will recognize the tire.

On my original wheels & tires, i had a readout
the replacement wheels & tires just display a light when a tire is low, but i didn't go to the dealer to get the new TPMS programmed in

I got two different sets of tires for my SRT8 and my SRT Hauler. I bought the correct value sensors for both sets and I've never had a problem nor did I have to go to the dealer and get them programed.

Are you sure you have the correct ones?

if you're pressure is low you'll get an indicator light and a message saying LOw TiRE. only "problem" is it doesn't tell you which tire.

Thanks guys. Just to be clear, I have the in dash readout that tells me the pressure of each tire, not just the little idiot light. I am just worried about those being mixed up (not really a problem but it would bug me)

How are the sensors connected? How do they tell which tire are low and which one is low when you rotate them?
