Well if the response is going to "why don't I talk to the dealer"... then whats the purpose of this board. Maybe we should just make the board respond with automated replys to go talk to the dealer? I thought it was to get opinions and answers from other people that have expireinced similar problems so that we can eduacte ourselves. Personally, I would like a little background information on what the problem might be ahead of time, so that when I do go talk to the dealer, I can speak intellegently about and don't get the run around.
I believe you took what I said the wrong way lol. Wasn't trying to be a jerk at all, just was saying that if under warranty that's probably your best bet.

Thanks United316. I had done a search on this before I posted, but apparently I didn't get the right keywords.

Our 4.7s at work all do this until the motor has warmed. My personal feeling is that the coolant in the radiator is cold aka dense and the radiator is more "dense" as a result. Once the coolant warms up the radiator expands and air is able to flow more freely through the radiator again. If you listen closely the sound is simply the air being drawn through the radiator by the fan. Nothing to be concerned about.

Hope this helps!

My truck has done the same thing since new and no issues yet. Something else to keep an eye on.

I could be wrong but, it takes power from the engine to run that fan thus warming the engine up a little faster? Maybe they are suppose to do this??? My truck did this always on a cold day for 5 minutes or so...

I live in florida , and i know when its pretty cold in the am , it happens. Morning's where its warm , it doesn't. I dont think it's a big deal. If something happens , you should have warranty..
