Default Aftermarket Tail Light Wiring

Just recently bought Spyder LED tail lights which are not plug and play. The two led rings have three wires each, a red a white and a blue. I understand the are brake light, parking lights, and ground. Going into the stock taillights is a board with 3 bulbs and 5 wires feeding into it. With many attempts even from a friend who is an electrician we cannot figure out how to wire
The LEDs. Any help would be awesome!

First off, you're gonna need some resistors for the LED's. Next, use a meter or test light to figure out which wire does what. The ground is common. You should have a wire for the reverse lights, a wire for the running/parking lights and a wire for the brake/turn signal light.

No matter what I try I can't the damn things to
stay on. when I test the wires against the circuits by touching they turn on but then when I go to wire them it doesn't work. Is that because I need the
resistors?
